Originally founded in Kalix and was subsequently acquired by the Zostera Group. In January 2021 the company was relaunched and named Helix Ice.

Helix Ice was founded after recognizing a need for the Nordic NPL – Non-performing Loan, market to enable new types of business solutions and investment collaborations.
